July 8, 2024-July 12, 2024 Big Sur Camping Trip

On July 8, 2024 I went camping at Big Sur. Big Sur is located in the Monterarey County of California. Big Sur is located on the Pacific Coast Highway. I stayed in a cabin. There are so many things to do. There is a playground, basketball court, and a river. I would go to Big Sur every summer when I was a child. One summer there was a fire and my family stopped going to Big sur. It has been a long time since I have been to Big Sur. I enjoyed going down the river in a tube. At Big Sur you are able to rent a tube and use it to float down the river. I floated down the river in a inner tube while wearing sunglasses and drinking a diet coke. The stream in the river will just push the inner tube down the river. Another activity I would do is visit the general store that was close to the Big Sur campground. It was a shop where you could buy souvnirs and you could get food. There was also a coffee place in the location that turned into a restaraunt at 8pm. I bought a white Big Sur Sweatshirt on the first trip to the general store and on the second trip I bought a bookmark with the planets and the bookmark also had facts about the planets. At the Big Sur Campground there was a black cat that I would see a lot. The black cat belong to the campground. On July 12, 2024 my family left Big Sur and returned home. We are going next year but not in a cabin next year,
